Much because of all the friendly advice received from all you German skippers on this forum, we have today just returned from a wonderful week of cruising from Wolfsbruch to Potsdam.
We made our way through the system and moored on Wednesday in Tegeler See as planned. Then off to an early start on Thursday and through Spandau and Charlottenburg locks to moor again at Charlottenburg around noon. Everybody was very helpful and friendly, including the lock keeper at Charlottenburg (over the "Fernsprechanlage") who locked us through with two other boats within 10 minutes. After that some Berlin sightseeing, wrapped up by going to the Deutche Oper (within walking distance from the boat) to hear a good performance of "Carmen" with Agunda Kulaeva in the title role. Then on to the week's highlight; a night cruise from Charlottenburg towards Mühlendammschleuse. Because I was aware of the potential difficulties in finding a mooring point at Schiffbauerdamm (especially after midnight), I had contacted the lock keeper at Mühlendamm, who kindly offered us to stay overnight at the "Wartestelle" and then give him a call in the morning whenever we would be ready to lock through (so not having to get up at 5.30 to be off at exactly 6.00 when the lock opens again). As it were however, we had an almost magic and very quiet cruise, and then (look and behold) we did find a place at Schiffbauerdamm, even if the stern of our 12m boat stuck out some 2m past the sign. The only other traffic was the Wasserschuzpolizei, with whom we exchanged polite waves on passing each other. Next day Friday we got under way at around 8.30, and then took the Teltow canal, followed by the Griebnitzkanal, to Wannsee. There we visited the "Haus der Wannsee Konferenz" and then enjoyed a very good dinner at the "Bootshafen Bolle" (highly recommended for their good food and kind staff), where were also allowed to moor for the last night. The boat was returned at noon in Potsdam right on time. The only problem we had was a slight leak of cooling water, which had to be topped up by about 0.5 l every morning. All in all, we had a great week with (mostly) good weather, friendly people and good cruising, with virtually no waiting at locks. ich habe mal bei YouTube ein komplett ungeschnittenes und unkommentiertes Video von der City-Durchfahrt an einem Wochentag zur "Prime Time" hochgeladen. Der Streifen läuft knapp über eine Stunde und zeigt die Fahrt von Charlottenburg bis Mühlendammbrücke. So kann man sich ja vielleicht im Vorfeld eine Vorstellung davon verschaffen, wie die Verkehrs- u. Navigationsverhältnisse dort sind.

Wir haben bereits mehrere Touren durch die Berliner Innenstadt ohne Funk erfolgreich absolviert. Kommenden Samstag wollen wir Mittags starten und über den Westhafenkanal und Berlin-Spandauer Schifffahrtskanal um 19:00 bei der Humboldhafenbrücke auf die Spree stoßen und weiter in Richtung Mühlendammschleuese fahren, um dann über den Landwehrkanal zurück zum Schildhorn zu gelangen.
Ist das so möglich oder habe ich irgendwelche Verbote übersehen?

Und der Charlottenburger Verbindungskanal ist wegen Bauarbeiten gesperrt.
Es kann aber sein, dass nur tagsüber, wenn gearbeitet wird. Der Umweg bis zur Schleuse und dann auf die Spree ist aber nicht weit.

Wenn mich nicht alles täuscht, ist es das Revier vor WSP 21. Wenn du nach der Südlichen Seestraßenbrücke den Kurs nach backbord richtest, tauchen die wie aus dem Nichts auf.
Wenn du auf den Charlottenburger Verbinder ausweichen willst, erkundige dich vorher bei Elwis. Seitdem am Neuen Ufer eine Verladestation ist, ist der Kanal alle Neese lang tagsüber (manchmal nur bis 16 Uhr) gesperrt. Es stehen aber dann auch große Schilder da. PS Ralf war schneller.
