Dear Raymarine VHF Owner,

As part of our ongoing quality monitoring, we have identified an issue affecting a small number of users operating Raymarine VHF radios in ATIS mode on European Inland Waterways. This issue requires a software update to ensure proper functionality.

Issue Summary
Some VHF radios with a programmed ATIS number may continue transmitting ATIS even when:
ATIS is disabled in the radio menu.
The channel set is changed to INT, USA, or CANADA, where ATIS should not be available.
This issue has been resolved in the latest software update.

This bulletin applies to the following Raymarine VHF radios:
Ray53 VHF Radio – Model E70524
Ray63 VHF Radio – Model E70516
Ray73 VHF Radio – Model E70517
Ray90 VHF Radio – Model E70492
Ray91 VHF Radio – Model E70493

What You Need to Do

Step 1: Check if You're Affected
Confirm the following:
You have entered an ATIS number and wish to disable ATIS when leaving RAINWAT (Inland Waterway) areas.
Your radio is running one of the following software versions:
Ray53/63/73: Version v2.07
Ray90/91: Version v1.60

Step 2: Update Your Software
If affected, download and install the appropriate software update:

Ray53/63/73:
App Version: v2.09
Boot Version: v2.27
Download the update here

Ray90/91:
App Version: v1.61
Boot Version: v1.09

Im Rahmen unserer laufenden Qualitätsüberwachung haben wir ein Problem festgestellt, das eine kleine Anzahl von Benutzern betrifft, die Raymarine-HF-Funkgeräte im ATIS-Modus auf europäischen Binnenwasserstraßen betreiben. Dieses Problem erfordert ein Software-Update, um die ordnungsgemäße Funktionalität zu gewährleisten.

Ausgabe Zusammenfassung
Einige VHF-Funkgeräte mit einer programmierten ATIS-Nummer können ATIS auch dann weiter übertragen, wenn:
ATIS ist im Radiomenü deaktiviert.
Das Kanalset wird auf INT, USA oder Kanada geändert, wo ATIS nicht verfügbar sein sollte.
Dieses Problem wurde im neuesten Software-Update behoben.
